Volunteering opportunities

We are currently recruiting volunteers for respective projects below:

Plastics Treaty Working Group

international policy touchpoint project lead (2 leads)
main activities
1. tracking and utilising existing resources and activities planned by other environmental groups on plastic pollution
2. tracking international developments on the Plastics Treaty
3. tracking international research developments on plastic pollution

others:
– attending regional calls with BFFP Asia-Pacific members

community engagement project lead (2 leads)
main activities
1. leading the garang guni project — a project to engage garang gunis in our neighbourhoods to understand their role in the informal waste recycling sector

school outreach project lead (2 leads)
main activities
1. working with MOE schools (primary & secondary) to organise a plastics pollution educational programme (comprising a workshop series and inter-school competition)

School Outreach Working Group

Tasks include:
1. 🎪 Setting up, engaging audience & tearing down booths/displays
2. 💻 Research & putting together educational content, such as working on our general climate education resources
3. 💡Brainstorming new ideas on how to better engage with students
4. 💬 Pubs&Comms to reach out to schools & students
